Oh hi there – I’m Mip! I am a musician and visual artist based out of Toronto ON and also sometimes from Starship Vanterprise (my mini-tour-van). It has always been my dream to make a living with my art and music. I enjoy crafting stories, words, visuals, and sounds to pepper across spacetime. 

Since before I can remember I was drawing and singing. In high school I started my first rock band and simultaneously excelled in my art and graphic design courses. I moved to Toronto to pursue music only to realize that an independent musician is a small business, and a good business needs to be able to properly express itself aesthetically. I started by designing posters, album art, and logos for my bands and soon leveled up by teaching myself to build WordPress websites. When I received an iPad pro for my birthday in 2015 it changed my life – suddenly I could draw directly to digital to bring my ideas to life. 

When I’m not recording, on the road, or working on a client’s project I am chipping away at building a webtoon with a musical score. 

In my journey as a musician and visual artist, I’ve discovered that bringing dreams to life through art and music isn’t just a passion – it’s a way of shaping the universe, one story, visual, or sound at a time.
